Matt Smith took out the Male’s open championship, whilst Brooke Mccoy made it an FTC double at the top of the Open field with the Female Open Championship. FTC’s Kate Bevilaqua took third whilst hubby Guy Crawford dominated on the bike (just one reason to attend Thursday Bike Sessions) for fifth.
In the Age Group Category we had a great showing from our female athletes. Michelle Carranza (30-34) and Cath Spencer (45-49) both took honours for their first state titles!
Sherry Coons, Kate Hicks, Kinga Hauge, Nikki Pursell all walked away with medals whilst James Cameron and Andy Flint represented the males.
There was also success for the Juniors with Josh Neervoort (1st Overall in Short Course) and Billie Mincham (3rd 12-13 Short Course) highlighted the strength of our Junior Athletes.
