What is the FTC Juniors Program?
Our junior program is the next level of training and racing for the sport of triathlon in the 12-19 age bracket which has a focus on developing the skills and fitness to compete in the Triathlon WA junior state series.
Our junior coaching now has two exciting programs to offer.
FTC Junior program Woodman Point – starts Tuesday 19th September – 4.30pm at John Graham Reserve.
A program for high school aged kids of all abilities for the 2017/18 triathlon season – 3-4 fully supervised sessions per week.
Join TWA as a junior nominating Fremantle Triathlon as your club – $98 – plus coaching fees for the season $100 – cash payment to coach within first month.
Tuesdays – 4.30pm ( 5.30pm from mid October) – Transition session at Woodman Point
Saturdays – 40km+ bike ride
There will be 1-2 other sessions per week – these will be advised upon from week to week in a closed FB group, dependant on the coach’s work shifts.
Any queries please direct to coach Shane Clarke: firstname.lastname@example.org
Junior Swimming coaching
There are also 2 swim sessions per week available to any FTC junior member aged 7 to 16.
Tuesdays and Thursday at Next Generation Gym in Bibra Lake from 6am to 7am, all year round.
To be able to join these sessions you do need to be a member of Next Generation – FTC members can take advantage of the corporate rate available to members, $22 per week for adults. This then gives kids free entry for one child of the family. If 2 parents join then multiple children of the same family gain free entry.
Next Generation membership gives you access not only to the junior coached swimming but ALL facilities and classes at NG.
